ColonCAD was also integrated into the visualisation software used to read CTC examinations for the French STOC trial which was recruiting patients in 2008 and the Japanese National Cancer Centre in Tokyo adopted Medicsight’s ColonCAD for the first CTC Colon cancer screening programme in Japan. Medicsight’s ColonCAD received FDA approval in America in 2010. Tim handed over control of the company to American investors before the software was eventually sold to Samsung. At its peak Medicsight was capitalised at £240m.

Tim has an ongoing involvement with MedicExchange which has evolved into one of the world’s largest directories of medical companies, medical devices and services providing categorised lists of devices and services that can be filtered, searched and compared to allow healthcare providers to plan or investigate possible solutions or capital purchases for their clinics or hospitals.

Tim has vast exposure to the healthcare industry. He has headed pioneering work in medical imaging software and lead its penetration in the USA, Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

He contributes his talent and experience to the development and growth of FRV.
